At ANKER we recognize the value that a diverse supply chain system brings to our business. Although we are structured around global businesses that serve a broad spectrum of industries, we all share a common supplier diversity goal - to maximize opportunities for small businesses. The term "small business" includes small disadvantaged businesses, women-owned small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. This also includes Minority Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises.
Many of our projects subcontract with small businesses and work with their customers to set small business goals to achieve. We believe that promoting small business growth is good for the economy and the communities where we work and live and we are proud of our record of consistently meeting or exceeding these goals. Our Procurement and Subcontracts organization works to maximize the use of small businesses in a way that enhances our ability to meet the needs of our customers. Our leaders and managers are committed to supplier diversity by staying alert to opportunities that may benefit these small businesses, informing our Procurement and Subcontracts organization of those opportunities and working with our supplier diversity advocates to communicate those opportunities. If you are a small business that falls under one of the socio economic categories established by government, please upload your certification documents as part of our supplier portal registration process. Additional information, including company capability and product brochures, can also be attached.
Once your registration is completed, your company’s information will become part of our global supplier information system and be available online to our purchasing and contracts personnel worldwide.
